Jeff Aafedt

Resilient, well-rounded, and a team player are words my former superiors and colleagues have used to describe me throughout my 45 years as a military and commercial aviator. My name is Jeff Aafedt, and I am interested in bringing my experience and relentless drive to your company. I have flown a variety of aircraft including a single seat fighter (F-16) while serving in the North Dakota Air National Guard, and Captain on the A-320, B-727 and DC-9 while employed at Northwest Airlines as a captain, instructor, and line check airman. Most recently I am flying a GV and G550 while employed at my current employer. I have served as chief pilot for two part 135 operations and over 10 years as an instructor and line check airman on the DC-9 and Airbus A-320 while employed at Northwest Airlines. My home is in the cockpit, flying is a thrill and a passion of mine. I am comfortable in either the PIC or SIC crew position, unfortunately the ICAO age 65 restriction is forcing me to seek a part 91 position so I can continue to fly internationally on a large cabin aircraft.
