For over 38 years I have operated and managed flight departments and provided consultation services in the industry. More recently, I have been involved in operating and leasing helicopters.

During my career, I've had the pleasure of working with wonderful people in the airline, charter and corporate segments of the Industry and worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. There, I received several FAA service and merit awards for my work.

As an active member of the National Business Aviation Association's Safety Committee for eight years, I served as Secretary, Vice Chair and eventually Chairmen of the Committee working on a variety of Aviation Safety related programs and produced several safety videos and toolkits for the NBAA membership.

As a member on the Board, we produced the training standards and guidelines for the single-pilot and VLJ industry adopted by both the FAA and the Insurance Industry

Though not currently active with the Committee, I remain in contact with many of the leaders of the NTSB, Aviation Safety Foundation and the Aviation Industry, in general.

Under my leadership at one NBAA member company, ours became the first, single jet operation in the North America to become IS-BAO registered.

Further, I was consulted with one, multi aircraft company and helped them obtain their IS-BAO Registration.

On a more personal note, I am former ski instructor who obtained both a PSIA Level 2 certification in Alpine skiing and Adaptive Level 1 in the Rocky Mountain Division of PSIA. Specializing mainly in training skiers with amputations and spinal cord injuries, I also taugh children and young adults with developmental "dif-abilities".

During the past few years I have been increasingly turning my focus toward the helicopter and UAV industries, specifically in the helicopter leasing and UAV training. I firmly believe now that the FAA has provided much needed guidance, we will see an increase in growth in this sector for the as the demand grows, pilots retire and the military cuts back on training.
